Fresh Installation |
A fresh installation is necessary to prepare a door to receive a lockset. If you have an existing lock installed and just need to replace it, you may not need any drilling done to the door, unless the new lock you want to install has a different measurement than the existing one. The fresh installation is used when adding a lock to a door for example. So you will need the door to be drilled in order to install that lock.
